7th trip to Algeria, focusing on experience in tours and knowledge of the terrain.

AN EXTRAORDINARY EXPEDITION TO THE SAHARA

The main goal of this expedition is to cross Algeria, reaching the Great Southern region. To achieve this, we will traverse vast desert expanses and the country’s paradises, including the Tassilis.

This is a unique journey where our 4×4 will be the ideal way to see and learn about our most remote past, creating memories that will remain etched in our minds and spirits as an incredible life experience.

Our destination is southern Algeria, where we will arrive in Djanet, known as the “pearl of Tassili.” From there, we will visit the Tadrart region, a natural continuation of Libya.

Abundant traces of the Neolithic era, in the form of paintings and pottery remnants, will show us how rich in life the Sahara was 10,000 years ago. Now, only a few Gueltas or small water spots remain, hidden under the protection of rocks and mountains, nurturing flora and fauna that have managed to survive in these extreme conditions. In 1982, UNESCO declared the two Tassilis a World Heritage Site and a Biosphere Reserve in 1986. This 2024 expedition to Algeria promises many extraordinary surprises.
